Iced Coffee Recipe
Iced coffees are delicious on a hot summer day. They are very easy to make and you can make the recipe your own by adding a variety of syrups and other ingredients. Here we give you not just one iced coffee recipe but three.
Equipment needed

2. Blender for the second and third recipe
1. Iced Coffee Recipe (With Floating Ice cubes) – Serves 1

Ingredients
Ingredients | Quantity |
Cold espresso or strong coffee (chilled in the fridge) | 100ml |
Cold Milk | 200 ml |
Sugar (optional) | 2 tsp or to taste |
Flavoured syrup (Optional) | 2 tsps |
Ice cubes | 4-5 |
METHOD
Stir the espresso, milk, sugar & syrup in a tall glass.
Add ice cubes and serve
*Use coffee flavoured iced cubes to prevent your iced coffee from getting diluted with regular ice. Make coffee flavoured iced cubes by cooling down left over strong coffee or espresso and freeze in an ice tray. Once set, make sure you put them in a sealed freezer bag. This will stay fresh for about a week or ten days.
2. Coffee Frappe - Iced Coffee Recipe (With Crushed Iced Cubes) - Serves 1
Ingredients | Quantity |
Cold espresso or strong coffee (chilled in the fridge) | 100ml |
Cold Milk | 150ml |
Sugar (optional) | 2 tsp or to taste |
Flavoured syrup (Optional) | 2 tsps |
Crushed ice | 1 cup |
Whipped cream | To Garnish |
METHOD
Place all ingredients except the crushed ice in a blender.
Add the crushed ice and blend till smooth
Serve in a tall glass and top with whipped cream and some more syrup.
*Replace the syrup with 1-2 chocolate cookies like Oreos and make yourself a cookies n cream version



3. Indulgent Mocha Coffee Shake - Iced Coffee Recipe (With Ice Cream) – Serves 1
Ingredients
Ingredients | Quantity |
Cold espresso or strong coffee (chilled in the fridge) | 100ml |
Cold Milk | 100 ml |
Chocolate flavoured Icecream | 1 scoop |
Milk Chocolate bar | Grate over as garnish |
Whipped cream | To top |
METHOD
Add the espresso, milk and ice cream and blend till smooth.
Pour into a tall glass.
Top with whipped cream
Grate chocolate over serve.
*Substitute the whipped cream and grated chocolate for another scoop of ice cream and chocolate syrup for a change.
